About DIAL Strategies
We kept watching good businesses get bad help. So we built the firm we couldn’t find.
DIAL is a senior team across finance, operations, and marketing, founded by two consultants who were tired of watching good businesses get bad help. We exist for one reason: to fix what growth breaks.
Why you’re here
You didn’t come looking for a story. You came looking for help.
You’re growing faster than your systems, leaving you stuck in the weeds.
You have a bench too thin to cover every portco that needs attention.
Either way, the growth is real. It’s breaking things faster than you can fix them. And you’ve probably already paid someone who presented well and delivered little.
It can be better
Imagine the version where it worked.
-
01
You know your numbers cold… which customers, products, and channels actually make money.
-
02
The team runs without you in every meeting, and you trust the monthlys within days of close instead of weeks.
-
03
Outside help found the real problem, did the actual work, and handed it back better than they found it… documented, with your people more capable than before.
That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. Here’s where it came from.
How we began
It started at our kitchen table.
My husband and I started a business at our kitchen table. Not because we planned to. Because we kept running into the same problem.
Murrey was consulting on finance and ops. I was consulting on brand and marketing. Totally separate clients, totally separate industries… and we were having the same conversations.
Every entrepreneur we worked with needed the same three things, all at once:
- The truth about their numbers from someone who could actually read them
- Their operations out of the weeds
- A clear way to explain what they do to the world
The problem? They couldn’t afford a CFO, a COO, and a CMO full-time. So they stitched it together. A bookkeeper here, a freelance marketer there, and endless Google searches in between, hoping the seams didn’t show.
So we stopped working around it and built DIAL Strategies. To fix what growth breaks.
Growth partners across finance, operations, and marketing. Senior-level thinking, flexed up or down to what the business needs that month.
After several years, we’ve grown into a full team of people we genuinely respect, serving clients across industries I find endlessly interesting.
And we love it. Even when we disagree at dinner about pricing strategy.
What we built
The model that came out of that kitchen.
Three commitments — and they haven’t changed.
We own the outcome
Not the deliverable. We stay until the work is done.
One flexible budget
It moves across finance, ops, and marketing to whatever moves the needle right now.
Every engagement ends
Clean handoff, documented work, and your team stronger than we found it. No dependencies left behind.
The bench behind the promise
Senior leaders, not soft claims.
623+ companies assessed

A senior bench: former CFOs, COOs, and M&A leads
Three disciplines, one team, one flexible budget
Every engagement starts with the DIAL Assessment

The people you’ll actually work with.
